Abstract

The research work focuses on Chromium doped Zn-ferrites catalyzed synthesis of 3 and 4 – Nitro phenyl benzamides, obtained in high yield. The synthesized compounds were characterized and confirmed by various spectral techniques like UV-Vis, 1H-NMR, Mass measurements etc. XRD analysis was also done and by applying the Debye Scherrer’s formula, the average particle size of the nitro phenyl benzamides was calculated. The synthesized nitro phenyl benzamides were screened for their biological activities.
