The Efficacy of Teaching English for Engineering Students

Abstract
India is a nation that has an adequate number of engineering colleges but, the language
proficiency of students is not to the mark, and owing to this, many of them are to earn only a
meagre salary. As communicative skill is the yardstick for their placements, it is necessary to
improve their language skills (LSRW). This paper briefly explains the various causes of
engineering students’ poor language skills along with measures to have a successful career.
