Abstract

The most important properties of PVC electrodes for Oxomemazine Hydrochloride (OXCl) are studied un-der several conditions. Practical methods have been used for electrode preparation by soaking the plain electrode in the ion-pair suspension. The prepared electrodes worked in the concentration range from 0.018 to 18.35 mg, with follow Nernstian cationic slopes, depending on the method of electrode fabrica-tion. The prepared electrode indicated the best data obtained at (slope 58.9±2.1 mV decade-1) comparing to electrode which modified with sodium (NaTPB). The response time equal to 15s and lifetime nearly 45 days. The attained electrodes can be used as end point indicator electrode to measure the OXCL potenti-ometric titration with high percentage of accuracy and precision.
