Abstract

The use of robotics in agriculture is an emerging field that promises enhanced productivity, precision, and sustainability. One of the prominent applications is the deployment of robots for pesticide spraying to address issues of labor shortage, environmental concerns, and human health risks. This paper presents a comprehensive design and analysis of a Smart Pesticide Spraying Robot that uses sensors, machine learning algorithms, and navigation technologies to optimize pesticide application. The robot is designed to detect crop conditions and automatically adjust the pesticide dosage based on real-time data, thereby minimizing waste and reducing environmental impact. Field experiments validate its performance, demonstrating significant reductions in pesticide usage while maintaining pest control efficacy.
